Evidence Mounts that Shoulder-Fired

... We're seeing more evidence surface daily to support an independent
investigator's assertions that TWA Flight 800 was shot down by Islamic
terrorists using a shoulder-mounted missile. The investigator asserts further
that Bill Clinton covered it up because he did not want it to hurt his
chances for re-election ... The evidence has been assembled by retired
Navy Commander Bill Donaldson, a former combat pilot and seasoned
... Donaldson flew A-4s in 89 combat missions in Vietnam before attending aviation safety school and entering post-graduate training in crash investigation ... He's done about a dozen crash investigations, has been an aircraft maintenance officer, aviation weapons officer, nuclear weapons officer, and went through the long course in air traffic control ... He also maintained the control center on the USS Forrestal for two years ... Basically, everything the TWA 800 crash involves, Donaldson has dealt with hands-on ... ... Donaldson said that since the government was not doing its job, he took it upon himself to "kick them in the shins" and conduct his own investigation, which has turned up scientific evidence and more than a hundred eye-witness accounts of the missile attack that paint a precise picture of what happened ... ... According to the evidence, the missile was fired from a boat about three miles in front of the airliner by Islamic terrorists ... A chain of international events led to this attack, and Clinton elected to cover it up ... ... At the time the plane went down, it was about 15 weeks before the presidential election ... The U.S. had been in a "hot-and-cold shooting war," as Donaldson described it, with Iran since the Shah of Iran left power, and, as we recall, hostages were taken during the Jimmy Carter presidency ... The Spring of 1996 became critical because the Clinton Administration quietly signed the Iran-Libya Sanctions Act, which said to other foreign powers that if they trade with Iran they could not trade with the U.S. ... Iran responded as if it were an act of war and communicated that to the U.S. ... The ensuing terrorist threat was well-known in the White House and in certain Congressional areas ... ... In June, right after the law was signed, the Iranians called a conference and brought in terrorist leaders from nine Middle Eastern countries ... The TWA flight was included in the general targeting plan that came from that conference ... The U.S. had crossed the line, and the Islamic terrorists were going to respond ... Only a few days later, on the 25th of June, the biggest bomb ever deployed against the U.S. military was set off at the Air Force barracks in Saudi Arabia ... The terrorists were trying to replicate the bombing in the 80s that forced the Reagan Administration to pull troops out of Beirut ... The same people then were responsible for the June 25 bombing ... Three weeks later, TWA Flight 800 went down off Long Island ... ... Not all of the information was covered up then ... The London Times published a very accurate story story five weeks after the crash, naming a group of terrorists that were operating in the United States ... The news account said three of the shoulder-mounted Stinger missiles had come in, probably by way of Afghanistan through Karachi, Halifax and across the U.S. border in upstate New York ... The missiles had been in the country for five months before the attack ... The Times was able to get a quote from the White House admitting it had intelligence reports about the missiles and terrorist threat ... ... The missile was fired at the maximum range ... The boat had to be within about three nautical miles of the aircraft and in front of it when they fired ... That is exactly what the radar captured ... We're learning now from newly-released radar information that while they said there were no boats or other aircraft in the area, there were ships out there and airplanes doing things that are not totally explained ... Beyond this, it's a matter of collecting the eye witnesses ... There was no government assistance in allowing the media to get the information .... They absolutely refused to allow that to happen ... So, as Donaldson says, "you have to have a guy like me who goes out and investigates it anyway" ... ... Donaldson has about 140 witnesses now at 60 locations, and potentially there are hundreds more ... The witnesses come from other aircraft, quite a few boats and on the ground ... Some were driving cars ... They saw the missile go up ... Their accounts create a precise, composite picture of the missile's flight pattern and collision with the aircraft ... Now that it is known from radar that there were another 30 ships in the area, there have to be even more witnesses on those ships ... ... One of the best, and newest, witnesses was on a U.S. Air flight
above and slightly to the left of TWA Flight 800 ... He was sitting in
Row 5 in a window seat and was looking down ... He may have been one of
the closest witnesses to the incident ... Flight 800 was only a mile underneath
him when it exploded ... He was looking almost directly down on Flight
800, and that's very important because of the track of the aircraft that
they were in ... The U.S. Air flight was heading basically to the north
and crossing Flight 800 ... The witness was looking down and saw a streak
come up from the south, heading north, much faster than the airplane he
was in ... And then the missile hit the aircraft and exploded ... He saw
the fireball, and then the wing of his airplane obscured Flight 800 as
it was going down ... This account fits precisely with all the other witness
reports, from a scallop boat captain to others who were on boats in the
area ... They pinpoint the launch position less than three miles in front
of
... Then there were witnesses' descriptions of a dogleg in the missile's
path ... It resulted from the course adjustments of a homing device ...
They not only saw a streak, but they also saw it maneuver ... Only a guided
missile can do that ... At the last second, the missile veered into a
... The missile was moving fast, like a tracer bullet, hit the number-two main wing tank and ultimately blew off the top of the wing ... There is no way this phenomenon could happen without the introduction of high explosives, Donaldson said ... Federal investigators have come up with their own weak excuses, such as the wing coming off and pancaking after contact with the water ... The mainstream media and Clinton Administration have come out looking really bad in this tragedy that took 230 victims ... Federal agencies attempted to make it look as if TWA had been responsible ... There was nothing in the government press releases that showed any sympathy at all for the airline ... The government was saying it was a mechanical failure and therefore TWA's fault, but they haven't proven a thing ... ... Sources described an extreme panic in the White House when the plane went down ... The President knew what happened ... The military was doing things that indicated they were anticipating the missile attack ... There was an initial perceived threat to the Atlanta area ... They knew what the threat was ... Short-range, shoulder-fired missiles ... They thought the target would be an airliner going into Atlanta because of the maximum exposure from all of the media present for the Olympics ... But it turned out to be Long Island ... ... If the terrorist threat is continuing right now, the U.S. public
should be aware of it ... We're about five blocks from the White House,
which is barricaded to the point where it looks like the executive mansion
in El Salvador ... Clinton has himself barricaded and travels around completely
protected ... But the average American doesn't know what the threat is
... And the major media is not doing it's job ... We shouldn't have to
wait 20 years to find out the truth ... The administration is explaining
the crash away as a make-believe incident ... There should be technical
writers in the media who can see through this and have the honesty to step
forward and say this can't be the truth ... People in the FBI and CIA will
have
... We're waiting now for the National Transportation Safety Board's next hearing, where we would expect to hear from these witnesses ...
