Bill finished up the first week of his 6 weeks of radiation therapy yesterday and seems to be doing somewhat better.  Over the past couble of weeks he has received many cards, letters, flowers, fruit baskets and personal visits from dozens of friends wishing him well.  It is very gratifying to him and his family that so many people have responded to wish him well.  Thank you.

We will have to wait and see if the radiation works since its effects are cumulative.
He remains at the St. Mary's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, Maryland.
