The temporary bridge will serve as a detour during the replacement and modification of the existing deteriorated Route 114 bridge. A tugboat and barge, measuring 82ft X 24ft and 130ft X 38ft, respectively, will be used to begin pile driving operations at the temporary bridge location. Working hours are 0700 to 1530, Monday through Friday. This phase of construction will be completed by 1 November 1996. Mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting the area.
